This lure and box combo was originally purchased from Lang's November 2007 Auction and was described as follows: "Rare Woods Ultra Casting Minnow Lure in Box. Extraordinary condition on the bait and box, sold through the Norvell-Shapleigh Hardware Company. Marketed as the Ultra Casting Minnow, this 3-hook, round body F.C. Woods Expert minnow is finished in solid aluminum with bright red hand-painted gill marks. Other than paint off the belly weight, this early minnow rigged with no-hole bow-tie props and non-detachable hooks is solid excellent. Wood slide top box is also in super condition, featuring a top paper label as well as a side label from an Austin, TX store. An exceptional combination".
