Adding Sound to Homemade Lures – When and Why
I remember years ago fishing for black bream at the mouth of the Hopkins River, Western Victoria. The river was swollen because sand movement had blocked the opening, and the water was a bit colored, which was encouraging large bream onto the flats. In those days not many people realised that bream were genuine lure fishing targets, but a small group of us had been experimenting and were consistently catching good bream on hard baits. These days hard or soft baits are almost the ONLY way to fish for bream, few people bother with smelly natural baits any more!
