This auction is for a rare HEDDON CRAZY CRAWLER 2150 BF musky / muskie fishing lure. Length is 3 1/2″ and color is bull frog. Three color eyes. Lure and box are as near to mint as can be. A couple tiny, tiny bumps on the nose are the only imperfections I can see. Included is an information sheet. Examine pictures carefully for condition. (Sorry for the flash glare.) This auction is for a vintage Heddon Giant River Runt 7510 musky fishing lure. It’s body is 3-1/4″ long. This is the 1941 version with the big glass eyes and the tail hook attachment screw on the bottom. It is in good condition with some age cracking in the paint. There is no paint missing but I call it good because the hooks are showing some light rust.

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VERY NICE CREEK CHUB BAIT CO.’s GAR UNDERWATER MINNOW. THIS WOODEN LURE MEASURES RIGHT AT 5-1/4″ BETWEEN THE PROPS. IT COMES IN A VERY NICE BRIGHT AND SHINY GREEN GAR SCALE FINISH. THE PAINT IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION. IT HAS GLASS EYES WITH THE LEFT BEING PERFECT AND THE RIGHT HAVING A HAIRLINE CRACK. THE EYE ITSELF IS STILL VERY MUCH INTACT BUT IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PICTURES I BELEIVE YOU CAN SEE IT. BESIDES THE HAIRLINE IN THE EYE AND A SMALL SCRATCH ON THE LEFT TIP OF THE NOSE THIS LURE APPEARS TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ON THE UNDERSIDE THERE ARE A FEW ISSUES WITH THE BELLY WEIGHTS PAINT MISSING ALONG WITH A FEW SCRATCHES AND POINTERS. THIS RARE FIND OF A LURE COMES IN THE CORRECT CREEK CHUB BAIT Co. BOX STAMPED 2920. THE BOX IS IN A VERY GOOD SOLID CONDITION SHOWING MODERATE SOILING AND WEAR BUT STILL HAS THOSE GREAT CREEK CHUB BAIT COMPANY GRAPHICS AND COLOR. I HAVE TRIED TO PHOTOGRAPH THE LURE AT DIFFERENT ANGLES AND BELEIVE THAT ALL IMPERFECTIONS ARE SHOWN AS DESCRIBED BUT PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO REVIEW THE PICTURES CAREFULLY TO HELP FORM YOUR OWN OPINION OF ACTUAL CONDITION OF THE LURE. THIS TOUGH LURE AND BOX COMBINATION WILL MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY VINTAGE LURE COLLECTION. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR NEED TO SEE MORE PICTURES PLEASE EMAIL ME AND I WILL TRY TO ANSWER THEM ASAP. THANKS FOR LOOKING IN AND HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Heddon #1505 Dummy Double Lure. Earliest model with pinned football rigging (a very scarce and seldom seen rigging), marked props, yellow body with fancy spot finish, glass eyes, very strong Ex- with a couple tiny flakes along the back edges, otherwise about as nice as an early Dummy Double gets.

Very Nice 3 1/2″ (body) green crackleback 5 hook underwater minnow with good glass eyes, unmarked props, tiny hand painted gill marks, and Neverfail hook hangers. In Ex condition with a tiny nose chip and a pointer. The correct marked 1911 maroon box, sold through 4 Brothers, has wear and staining to the top label and repaired corners on the box bottom, but not an easy box to find. A scarce early combination.

Terrific Grip Lock tackle box full of old tackle. Some of the names include Heddon, CCBCO (Creek Chub), Paw Paw, and others. Most have glass eyes and are in excellent condition. There are four boxed lures including three Creek Chub and one Heddon that all appear to be in their marked boxes. There are also two each of Punkinseeds and Dingbats. There are also a couple of nice miscellaneous items including a Shakespeare bottle and a couple of colorful leader packages. As you can see by the photos, there is no junk in here. What a terrific find

Outstanding and rare circa 1938 Heddon Giant Runt wood fishing Lure. The original finish in “yellow shore” color is remarkable. It measures 3 1/2″ and includes the more desirable Giant Vamp glass eye type (as opposed to the later Teddy Bear eyes) suggesting it was made toward the earliest part of its 1938-1941 production period. It carries Heddon’s famous heavy-duty toilet seat hardware and still retains it’s original yellow bucktail.
The condition of this lure is amazing. It is difficult to find a Giant Runt in any shape, let alone one in excellent condition, as is this one. Most of these big lures simply didn’t survive. If they did, they were bit by the big Salmon and Muskie, or knocked around in a tackle box. When one is found, it nearly always shows some rash of one sort or another. I have never seen one better than this one. It has perfect eyes, excellent hardware, nice bushy bucktail, shiny vamp-style lip, and even the nose and tail are without blemish. It boasts a breathtaking original finish with only some very light crazing to the varnish in places. You won’t find one better!

Really nice old Heddon #100 Dowagiac Minnow in the early “fatbody” with L-rig hardware made Circa 1915. This all wood/all original lure has been fully hand painted in the classic Green Crackleback complete with red gill slits and large oversized glass eyes. The lure body measures 3″ in length and its in excellent condition for its age with just some minor paint cracking on the belly and some small chipping around the tail, no drag marks or scratches. Both glass eyes are pristine and the hardware is also all original and in good condition.
Book value range for a nice #100 is $200 - $900, but as with all of my auctions this starts at .99 with NO RESERVE

A very rare and sought after piece, this unique shaped Wee Dee in frog pattern (series 4819) was created in 1936, but gone right after WWII. Created to replace the Weed Bug, it comes with 3 single hooks, 2 wire weed guards (one is missing, but can probably be created or replaced), a long wire line tie, 2 glass eyes positioned on the top of the head. There is a small chip on the corner of both sides of the chin, the right rear, and the top right left of the bait. For the most part, bright and shiny and highly displayable. In comes in a solid correctly stamped 4819 box and the famous old man on the pier pocket catalog that comes in full color. Here is a complete set for somebody’s collection that will be the envy of your fellow CCB collectors.

For auction is a HEDDON #900 “SWIMMING MINNOW”. Screw eye hook hangers. .Lure is in good condition. No serious loss of paint. Their are paint chips at the tail hook hanger, the nose line eye, and the belly weight. Otherwise paint is good. Their is a lot of varnish loss. Hooks have moderate to light rust. Hook pin is broken off. No cracks in eyes. However the left eye has a tiny chip at the center of the pupil. I tried to get a picture of it but would not show. You can see it with a magnifier. Pictures show the overall condition very well. The age is circa 1910? I am selling my entire tackle & book collection over the coming months months. Please put me on your watch list & check my other auctions. I accept Pay Pal or USPS MONEY ORDER for payment from USA buyers with verified address. International buyers MUST pay via Pay Pal instant transfer and have a verified address. See return policy. Thanks for looking & good luck if you bid.
