This RARE 3831 Creek Chub Rainbow Fire Beetle is in Unfished Excellent Condition. This Beetle still has the FIREPLUG TAG still attached to the belly treble hook. This Beetle has never been cleaned, I will leave this to the new owner. This Beetle comes in the Correct Stamped Box,( Box has some wear.) Stamped SPECIAL 3831 with the Correct Box Catalog. Old CREEK CHUB TARPON PIKIE Fishing Lure Click HERE for more Antique Lures.

Here's a rare one - a Tarpon in Special color Day-N-Nite - and in the box with papers!!!

The lure is 6 1/2" long. Condition is excellent overall, with some age cracks & light dings. Right glass eye is fine but the left one is cracked.

Color paper catalog has a stain & is faded from some mildew, but may be cleanable - I don't know the process. No tears or rips though, and it's legible all around.

There's also a Creek Chub order blank, which is in good shape - soiled from being in the box, but no rips or tears.

Box is in good shape with light soil inside & out. There is some paper wear here & there, but all seams & corners are tight, with none broken or worn through. Boxtop end is marked Special C.C.B. Co. Lure, No. 4021.

A Heddon 740 punkinseed in uncataloged color goldfish. It's in super condition, it's hard to find with paint still on bellyweight. It has a tiny rub and a pointer. I think the rub was done at the factory. You can determine that yourself. This is a tough punkinseed in this color and would be a great addition to anyone's collection.
